Ordering
Orders can be placed from our website 24 hours a day. We accept major credit cards through PayPal, as well as personal checks and money orders. PayPal only from non-US buyers.
To place an order, select the options you want for your item and click "Add to Cart". A seperate window will open up showing the contents of your cart. You can then opt to continue shopping or proceed to the checkout.
US Shipping Charges are automatically calculated when you click on the secure checkout button. All orders are shipped USPS (United States Postal Service). US orders are shipped via Priority Mail which usually takes 2 - 3 business days to arrive once the order has been shipped (please note that this is on top of the production time). When you click on the "secure checkout" button, you will be taken to a page showing your order total. It will also have a link to open a new PayPal account or to log into an existing one.
Once you are logged in you will be asked to confirm your order. By clicking on the confirm button you are saying that the order is correct and you are ready to buy. Credit card reversals incur a $20 fee, so please e-mail about a refund rather than reversing charges if need be.
You will then be given an order confirmation #. Copy this down and keep it in a safe place. You will also be sent an e-mail confirmation of your order. Keep this confirmation until you receive your order.
If you need to contact us for any reason, you will need to have some information handy.

Please note that we use an answering machine to screen calls. We prefer to be contacted via e-mail, but if you must call please be prepared to leave a message. If we are available we will answer before you hang up.
To pay by personal check or money order, you can place your order using our mail-in order form. US orders only.

All orders must be paid in full prior to production.
Your order will not be scheduled for production until your payment is received.
Orders paid by personal check are held up to 2 weeks to clear.
Returned checks incur a $20 fee.
When using the downloadable order form you may include Katcha Inc items on your order. These, however will incur an additional fee of $6.00 USD for the first Katcha Inc. item and $1.00 USD for each additional item.
When including Katcha Inc items on your mail-in order, please include the product number (found by clicking on the item within the shop), Sub-category, product name, quantity, and size.

Backorders:
If a fabric or color you ordered is not in stock and will not be available within a reasonable amount of time, you will be notified by e-mail. You can then opt to wait for the fabric to come in or choose another fabric or color.
Returns, Refunds and Exchanges:
If there is a problem with your order once you receive it, you can contact us by e-mail.
I rarely do exchanges, especially on dresses and gowns, so please check
the sizing prior to ordering. If you have questions about your size, please e-mail me.
However, some items can be
returned, unworn, for a refund minus a 15% restocking fee and shipping charges, but you must e-mail first.
The occassional exchange will cost you shipping - return shipping to me and the cost of shipping the new items to you.
Returns must be sent within 10 days of receipt of merchandise.
IMPORTANT! Please do not ship an item back without contacting us first. All packages returned without first contacting us will not be accepted.
IMPORTANT! Refusing a package when it is delivered does not grant you a refund. You must have a vaild reason for the return, and if you don't even accept the package, then there is no way you can have a valid reason.
SRF (Special Order Fabric) Items:
Special order fabrics include all velvets, leathers, pleather, satins, chiffons, and knit fabrics. Various other fabrics also fall in the special order catagory (these will be marked with an "*SRF" in the description). Special order items also include tailored items, bridal gowns, and exotic colors.
You may request a full refund on these items within 24 hours, but after that I have already ordered the fabric and therefore cannot and will not refund the fabric costs.
Shipping
Our Current Production time (as of 2-25-2008) is approximately 12 weeks.

*All orders within the United States are shipped via USPS - United States Postal Service - Priority Mail.
*International orders are shipped via USPS Global Priority.
*All orders are shipped with proper insurance and tracking, except where unavailable.

*Rush Service currently IS NOT available.
Special Orders and Custom Items.
Custom (or tailored) items are special order items. They can not be ordered directly from the site, but you may e-mail me what you are wanting as well as a state and zip code. Make sure to include size, color, and fabric. I will e-mail you back a
quote for the item. If you wish to follow through, I will then send a PayPal invoice for the total amount.

various orginizations (schools, churches, etc).

Please note: large wholesale orders (generally over 10 items)
are not eligible for rush delivery. Even when I have help, there is only enough space for 4
people to comfortably work and only one sewing machine and serger.
